Bell notes: D#, D#, G#, G#, A#, A#, B, B, D#, G#, A#, B. Its sound is characterized by a smooth, flowing sound flow that can evoke movement, changes, and the beginning of new paths.

How to play Koshi bell?

Hold the bell by the string, let it hang freely, and gently rotate your wrist. The hammer inside, by touching the metal rods, creates a harmonious cascade of sounds. The wider and freer the movement, the more rods engage in the sound. Gently rocking the bell back and forth can produce individual notes, and hanging it in the right spot will create a melody inspired by the natural movement of the wind.

Application in

Sound Practices Koshi River is perfect for meditation, sound therapy, sound yoga, and various relaxation practices. Its lightly spreading sound can subtly complement the sounds of singing bowls, gongs, and other musical instruments. The bell can be used at the beginning or end of a sound session to mark transitions between different practices, or simply to invite listeners to pause briefly and listen.

“Earth Symphony” Collection

River is one of the four melodies in the “Earth Symphony” collection. Together with the bells Mountain, Forest, and Ocean, it creates a seamless musical harmony. All four bells can be played separately or together, as their melodies are specially designed to naturally harmonize with each other.

Handmade production

Each Koshi bell is handmade in France, at the foothills of the Pyrenees. Twelve steel rods made of silver are attached to a metal base and carefully matched one by one. The natural cherry wood resonant body amplifies vibrations and gives the sound warmth and long-lasting resonance. The hammer is made of brass and coconut shell. No plastic is used in production.

Technical specifications:

Collection: Earth Symphony

Melody: River

Mode: G# minor (G# minor)

Notes: D#, D#, G#, G#, A#, A#, B, B, D#, G#, A#, B

Tuning: at 440 Hz frequency

Rods: 12 steel, silver-plated

Body: natural cherry wood

Hammer: brass and coconut shell

Height: about 16 cm

Diameter: about 6.3 cm

Overall length with cord: about 35.5 cm

Weight: about 145 g

Country of origin: France

Let the sounds flow like water – freely, lightly, and constantly changing.
